Congrats! You have made your choice for your keynote speaker.

So what now? This ??

❌ Choose a topic from their website and hope for the best?

❌ Expect them to show up and know what to present?

❌ Have them focus around their new book so they can sell it?

NOOOOOOO!

Do this! ?

? Set up a pre-event call within 30 days from the date of your event.

? Provide as much background information as possible about the event, the organization, their industry, and the attendees prior to the call.

? On the pre-event call focus on the content of the presentation.

? Leave A/V logistics and nuts and bolts technical issues for email or a separate call.

? If there are media like video, slides, and music make sure you get those files and assets prior to the speaker’s arrival.

? Schedule a soundcheck well in advance so the keynote speaker schedule’s their flight in order to accommodate the soundcheck
