Drew Pearson is a legendary Dallas Cowboys wide receiver who rose from undrafted free agent in 1973 to NFL icon. Over 11 seasons, he became one of the team’s all-time greats, recording 489 receptions, 7,822 yards, and 50 touchdowns. Known as “Mr. Clutch”, he made numerous game-winning plays, including the iconic “Original Hail Mary™” in 1975.
Drew Pearson was named to the NFL 1970s All-Decade Team, selected All-Pro three times, led the NFC in receptions in 1976, and served as Cowboys captain in multiple seasons. He helped lead “America’s Team” to three Super Bowl appearances, including a win in Super Bowl XII.
He set postseason records at the time of his retirement, including catching a pass in 22 consecutive playoff games. Drew Pearson was inducted into the Dallas Cowboys Ring of Honor and the Texas Sports Hall of Fame in 2011.
