Biography

While superstar Jessica Alba needs no introduction, it’s important to point out that beyond her accomplishments on-screen, she has an honest and true desire to improve the lives of others– both through her extensive charity service and with her company, Honest, which specializes in safe products for home and personal care. Jessica exemplifies leading with heart and can speak expertly on business, wellness, and service.

An actress, activist, and entrepreneur, Jessica burst onto the entertainment scene as a model and actress in the early 2000s. After appearing in national TV commercials as a child, she held roles in several TV series including Flipper and Beverly Hills 90210. In 1999, she appeared in the romantic comedy Never Been Kissed which kick-started her career in major films. She starred in the lead role of Honey in 2003 before a breakout year in 2005, wherein she appeared in Sin City, Fantastic Four, and Into the Blue. Above any of her career accolades, Jessica has enjoyed motherhood the most.

In 2012, Jessica co-founded The Honest Company. In an industry consumed by toxic and harmful products, HONEST responds to the need for safe, effective, and affordable products for home, beauty, and children. All HONEST products are created with wellbeing in mind and designed to represent a friendly, healthy, and sustainable future.

Jessica finds joy in helping others. She has been a huge supporter of the Amfar charity for AIDS, as well as other charities like Habitat for Humanity, ONE, Project HOME, and Safer Chemicals Healthy Families.
