Diversity & Inclusion …what comes to mind?

Do these? ?

➡️ The broadest representation of cultures

➡️ Equal access to opportunities and resources for everyone

➡️ Employees who are disabled

➡️ Creating space for different ideas, values, and beliefs

➡️ Ensuring that all genders, races, religions, etc. are represented

➡️ That an organization employs a diverse team of people that’s reflective of the society in which it exists and operates.

All of these are valid, but what about these? ?

Some ideas on Diversity & Inclusion you could be overlooking…

? Urban / Rural

? Cat People / Dog People

? White Collar / Blue Collar

? Couples with children / Couples without children

? Always eat at home / Always eat out

? Gen X / Baby Boomer / Millennials / Gen Z

.. and the list goes on and on…

Diversity & Inclusion makes the workplace a safer, more respectful environment for all employees.

It’s about understanding and respect.

D&I also makes communities and workplaces more tolerant and welcoming.
