Christina Tosi is a celebrated chef, entrepreneur, and the creative force behind Milk Bar, a bakery known for its innovative and whimsical desserts. She initially studied to become an electrical engineer before switching gears to pursue pastry school in New York City. There, she gained experience working in fine dining, including at the renowned Momofuku restaurant, where she launched the dessert program and made her mark with unconventional treats like “cereal milk” ice cream​.

In 2008, Christina Tosi founded Milk Bar, which quickly became a hit for its unique creations such as the Compost Cookie, Birthday Cake, and Crack Pie (now renamed “Milk Bar Pie”). She focuses on developing desserts that evoke nostalgia and offer a playful twist on traditional flavors. Christina Tosi has expanded Milk Bar to multiple locations across the U.S. and launched a successful e-commerce platform. She’s also a familiar face on television, appearing as a judge on shows like MasterChef and Chef’s Table: Pastry
