Thanksgiving is gone, and end-of-year holiday celebrations will quickly be in full swing.
I relate to gratitude this way– it’s confirmation of the good one has in their life and the acknowledgment that this good mostly comes from outside oneself.
Gratitude is the recognition that life owes me nothing and all the good I have is a fleeting gift.
While the importance of stopping to give thanks and show appreciation is important and should occur all year long, it seems at times that the spirit of gratitude fades away quickly.
The spirit of generosity goes further than gratitude and appreciation and is the active willingness to share with others without expecting something in return.
So, bring your whole self to everything you do. Be kind, smile, listen, encourage, love, share, live enthusiastically, and give generously this holiday season and beyond.
