Book Troy Aikman through The Keynote Curators

Biography

Troy Aikman is a Pro Football Hall of Fame quarterback, acclaimed sports broadcaster, entrepreneur, and philanthropist. Selected by the Dallas Cowboys with the first overall pick in the 1989 NFL Draft, Aikman became one of the most accomplished quarterbacks of his generation. During his 12-season career with the Cowboys, he led the franchise to three Super Bowl victories, earned six consecutive Pro Bowl selections, and was named Most Valuable Player of Super Bowl XXVII. He finished his career with 32,942 passing yards and 165 touchdowns before being inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2006.

Following his retirement, Aikman successfully transitioned from the playing field to the broadcast booth. He spent more than two decades as a lead NFL analyst for FOX Sports before joining ESPN’s Monday Night Football in 2022 alongside longtime broadcast partner Joe Buck. Together, they have called hundreds of regular-season and playoff games, numerous NFC Championship Games, and six Super Bowls. Aikman is recognized for his clear analysis and ability to explain the strategy, preparation, and pressure behind professional football.

Beyond football and broadcasting, Aikman has built a diverse business career that includes investments in automotive dealerships, professional sports, NASCAR, and hospitality. In 2022, he founded EIGHT Brewing Company, bringing the discipline and competitive mindset that shaped his athletic career into the entrepreneurial world. He has also supported children and families through the Troy Aikman Foundation, which has helped create recreational and therapeutic spaces in children’s hospitals.

As a speaker, Aikman draws from his experiences in professional sports, broadcasting, and business to explore leadership, teamwork, resilience, preparation, and navigating change. His candid stories demonstrate how trust, accountability, and recognizing the strengths of every team member can help individuals and organizations perform under pressure and achieve lasting success.
