MPI’s European Meetings & Events Conference (EMEC) brought the global meetings and events community together March 3-5 to focus on topics that matter most to our industry.

I was honored to attend the event in its 35th year and explore Luxembourg’s beauty, history, and diversity!

✨? The Keynote Curators was proud to bring Özlem Cekic to the main stage. One of the first women with a Muslim immigrant background to be elected to the Danish Parliament, Özlem spoke with authority and humility about the power and potential of empathic listening and connecting meaningfully with the world – especially those with whom you have little in common.

Özlem’s impactful message underscored the transformative potential of empathy and communication in creating unity where there are divides.
