Book Michael Johnson through The Keynote Curators

Biography

Michael Johnson is a four-time Olympic gold medalist and eight-time World Champion, widely regarded as one of the greatest sprinters in track-and-field history. At the 1996 Atlanta Olympics, he became the first man to win both the 200m and 400m at the same Olympic Games, famously competing in his gold racing shoes. He also set world records in both events, including his legendary 19.32-second 200m performance.

Following his competitive career, Johnson transitioned into business, broadcasting, coaching, and keynote speaking. An award-winning television commentator and performance mindset expert, he shares lessons on high performance, preparation, resilience, leadership, and achieving ambitious goals. He is also the founder and Commissioner of Grand Slam Track, a professional track league created to elevate the sport and its athletes.

Michael Johnson is also an author. His books include Slaying the Dragon: How to Turn Your Small Steps to Great Feats, in which he shares strategies for overcoming fears and achieving personal goals, and Gold Rush, which explores the qualities and mindsets behind Olympic champions through conversations with elite athletes such as Usain Bolt and Michael Phelps.begin0

Testimonials

I just wanted to send a quick email to say thank you and to let you know what a huge success Michael was at the event. People were raving about his presentation and the feedback from clients was very positive.
– Goldman Sachs
I just wanted to write a quick word to say thank you to Michael for coming to our Baillie Gifford conference at Gleneagles and presenting so spellbindingly at our dinner. The whole of the conference was a buzz after his performance and our clients were still talking about it the next day. He was also generous with his time – coming down for drinks at 6.30pm and staying with us till almost 11.30pm while people took selfies. From a personal point of view, I hugely enjoyed talking with Michael over dinner and introducing him on stage. Apart from being an athletics legend, he is a very intelligent and articulate guy and we had a super chat on a number of topics. Just a class, class act all round.
– Baillie Gifford
A quick note to thank you for your help and also to pass on our – and HSBC’s – huge thanks to Michael for his time in Dubai. He was superb and I hope he also enjoyed his first live rugby experience.
– HSBC/Hill & Knowlton – HSBC’s rugby sevens sponsorship
