As the founder and CEO of the Coaching and Positive Psychology (CaPP) Institute, she has dedicated her career to empowering individuals and organizations to embrace resilience, happiness, and success.

With a robust academic background, Valorie holds a Master of Applied Positive Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania, a Master’s degree in Journalism from Florida A&M University, and a Bachelor’s degree from Florida State University. Her commitment to lifelong learning and personal development is evident in her extensive work, including authoring 13 books translated into multiple languages. Notable titles among her publications are Let Go of the Guilt, It’s About Time, and Successful Women Think Differently.

Valorie Burton’s professional journey began in Dallas, Texas, where she founded The Burton Agency, a marketing and public relations firm she led from 1997 to 2001. In 2001, she established Inspire, Inc., further solidifying her role as a catalyst for personal and professional growth. Her entrepreneurial spirit and dedication to service were recognized when Texas Governor Rick Perry appointed her to the Governor’s Commission for Women, where she served a two-year term.

Her insights have been featured in prominent publications like O, The Oprah Magazine and Essence Magazine.
