Dr. Ben Sorensen is a terrific speaker and a great partner. My relationship with Ben goes back to 2013 when I first joined my previous company. I was attending an event in Miami and we were sponsoring Ben as a speaker at the event. I was so impressed with Ben after watching him speak that I flew back to my office and immediately asked my team to partner with Ben to develop additional programs. [. . .] Ben has helped train thousands of financial advisors and other industry professionals, and he’s trained countless senior executives on leadership and executive stamina and served as a keynote at executive women’s events that have helped many. If you have the opportunity to partner with him, don't pass it up.
– Danielle Moiseyev, Chief Marketing Officer, PCS Retirement, LLC
have known Ben for 3+ years and am continually inspired by his professionalism and demeanor. I am particularly impressed by his ability to connect with so many people, always taking a genuine personal interest and providing timely and effective guidance if needed or simply to be an uplifting presence. Ben is highly respected and admired throughout the chain of command for his military knowledge and willingness to take on difficult challenges and succeed. He is a dedicated leader with genuine care and concern for those under his command.
– Jason Clark, US Navy
We have engaged Ben at our company on many occasions. He has facilitated several strategic discussions at our annual strategic offsites with the Board and Senior Team, has conducted many leadership sessions with our Management Teams around having difficult discussions, and has served as an executive coach for several members of our Senior Team including myself. On top of all that, Ben is a first-class guy that anybody would be proud to call a friend. Highly Recommended!
– Larry Barker, President-CEO, Machias Savings Bank
In 2019 I was first introduced to Dr. Ben through my employer as a part of their leadership training program. His teaching style, compassion, and adaptability just draw you in and I cannot thank him enough for the wealth of knowledge that I gained as his student. A true gentleman and a phenomenal mentor!
– Jessica Bishop, Small Commercial Underwriting Manager, Hallmark Financial
I served as Ben’s Commanding Officer from 2017 through 2019. I worked directly with him in this capacity and observed firsthand that he embodies the term, “officer and gentlemen.” Ben is singularly outstanding as a leader and tactician. He has a great ability to think strategically with eyes fixed over the horizon while executing and tackling the tasks immediately at hand. Whenever there was an issue that I needed the best possible mind assigned to, Ben got the call. Another thing that I have always admired and appreciated about Ben is his approach to leadership and mentoring. Ben is extraordinarily inclusive and goes the extra mile to involve everyone. His deliberate attempts to engage with each member of the crew and receive feedback when problem-solving was unique and highly effective. In short, to borrow a sports analogy, Ben is and will always be a first-round draft pick! He makes every team that he is a part of better! I am honored to know and associate with Ben. Our government trusts him with its most deeply held secrets, and I trust him with my life. He’ll remain a lifelong friend and confidante.
