It’s everywhere. Race relations and how to improve them. I was thinking about how difficult a subject it is to talk about.
 
We have an incredibly diverse team in our agency; Latino, Female, African, Jewish, European – we are a veritable United Nations. But it still is a challenge to talk about race at work.
 
??? ???? ??????? ????? ?? ? ???? ???? ?? ??? ?????, ??????? ??? ???????????? ?? ???? ?????????. Avoiding tough subjects like race also bleeds into other challenging topic areas and creates an environment where tough topics are not addressed.
 
??? ?? ?????:
 
? ????? the intention, focus, and safety needed to have honest conversations about race.
 
? ??????? the sensitivity of the topic while challenging people to go beyond the superficial.
 
? ??????????? the uncomfortable realities of the past and the present.
 
? ???????? the experiences of your racially marginalized employees.
 
? ????????? how your company is prioritizing goals and metrics around racial equity.
 
This will result in:
Moving from “Uneasy & Uncomfortable” to “Confident & Caring”
Leading to better decision-making, greater innovation, and higher engagement in the workplace.
 
It will improve a company’s reputation and make it easier to attract top talent.
