Using our voices on social media platforms to keep topics like this at the forefront of discussion and exploration is necessary. It’s almost impossible to find someone who hasn’t been affected directly or indirectly by this disease. Whether you celebrate this month by wearing pink or choose to quietly observe the month, it’s a topic that needs to be normalized and that deserves greater understanding and more research leading to better treatments and hopefully, a cure that will eventually wash away the fear.
