Book Jamie Siminoff through The Keynote Curators

Biography

A lifelong inventor and mission-driven entrepreneur, Jamie Siminoff created the world’s first Wi-Fi video doorbell while working in his garage in 2011. That doorbell has since transformed into Ring, the whole-home security powerhouse that was acquired by Amazon in 2018 for over $1 Billion.

Prior to Ring, Jamie Siminoff founded and sold several successful ventures, including PhoneTag, the world’s first voicemail-to-text company. Today Jamie focuses on a multitude of ventures through Shark Lake Explorations, his family office.

Jamie Siminoff’s book, Ding Dong: How Ring Went From Shark Tank Reject To Everyone’s Front Door, offers an unfiltered look at his entrepreneurial journey from near-failure to global impact and serves as a blueprint for turning adversity into innovation.

Jamie holds his Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship from Babson College. When he’s not working, Jamie enjoys spending time with his wife, son, and two dogs Pancake and Biscuit.

Turning Rejection Into Rocket Fuel: The Billion-Dollar Lessons Behind Ding Dong

From being turned down on Shark Tank to building a billion-dollar brand acquired by Amazon, Jamie Siminoff’s story is a testament to the power of resilience, reinvention, and staying true to your mission. Drawing from his new book, Ding Dong: How Ring Went From Shark Tank Reject To Everyone’s Front Door, Siminoff takes audiences inside his rollercoaster journey of near-bankruptcy, breakthrough innovation, and building a movement rooted in purpose. He reveals practical strategies for transforming setbacks into momentum, leading with conviction, and creating products that make a real impact, proving that sometimes the biggest “no” can spark your greatest success.

Mission to Disruption: How a Focused Mission Creates Value for Society and Shareholders

Jamie Siminoff has been called “the billion dollar deal that got away” by the sharks on Shark Tank. After walking away from the show without an investment, Jamie led Ring to become a trusted, whole-home security company – eventually landing a $1 billion sale to Amazon.

Above all, there is one critical reason for the company’s success: a focused mission. Even when faced with the possibility of running out of funding, everyone at Ring was driven by the same goal of making neighborhoods safer.

Drawing from real examples throughout his career, Jamie demystifies how to implement mission-driven strategies that can transform any organization. The result is a stronger culture, increased innovation, and measurable growth that translates directly to the bottom line.
