Book Peter Ricciardi through The Keynote Curators
Biography
Peter Ricciardi brings a unique, often counterintuitive perspective to franchising—one shaped by decades of real-world operating, leadership and advisory experience.
Being one step ahead is nothing new for Peter. At nineteen, he graduated cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania with a Wharton-intensive course load and taught economics before turning twenty.
He went on to flourish as the youngest Burger King franchisee in company history, transform food-and-beverage profitability at a leading U.S. ski resort, successfully launch professional hockey in a market where sports franchises had repeatedly failed, and serve as Team President of one of only eight NBA-owned G League teams at the time. For the past decade, Peter has advised companies across a wide range of industries, including franchise systems, technology, software, digital marketing, beverages, environmental solutions and recreational vehicles. That experience led him to write Mind Shift. Profit Lift.: Rewiring Your Entrepreneurial Brain for Greater Profitability, Growth & Staying Power. Upon its release, the book reached #1 in Amazon’s Retail category and #5 in Hospitality. The book has resonated particularly strongly with franchisors and franchisees…hardly surprising given Peter’s decades of experience advising and operating within the franchise space.
In October 2026, he is scheduled to address Burger King’s newest franchisees at the company’s annual convention. Like his book, Peter’s presentations are engaging, direct and thought-provoking. His message is clear: Tomorrow’s success is impossible without looking at your business through a new lens…one that continually challenges yesterday’s assumptions.
