An award-winning actor, New York Times bestselling author, and philanthropist, Hill Harper is a celebrity role model with empowering messages of achievement, defining success, effective communication and how to take control of one’s future.

With seven NAACP Image awards for his work, Harper has appeared in a variety of television and film roles, including Universal Pictures’ 2015 release, The Boy Next Door, on USA Network’s Covert Affairs, and previously, from 2004 to 2013, on the CBS TV drama CSI: NY. The bestselling author of four books, including Letters to a Young Brother and The Conversation, Harper offers inspiring insight and valuable advice for adults of all ages. In 2014, People Magazine named him one of their Sexiest Men Alive.

Committed to sharing lessons and providing opportunities for underserved teens to achieve success, Harper founded Manifest Your Destiny Foundation, a non-profit dedicated to empowering underserved youth through mentorship, scholarship, and grant programs.

Harper graduated magna cum laude as valedictorian of his department with a bachelor’s degree from Brown University and cum laude with a Juris Doctorate degree from Harvard Law School. He also holds a master’s degree with honors from Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government and has Honorary Doctoral Degrees from Winston-Salem State University, Cheyney University, Westfield State College, Tougaloo College, Dillard University and Howard University.
