Book Tiffany Michelle through The Keynote Curators

Biography

Tiffany Michelle is a record-breaking professional poker player, WSOP gold ring winner, television personality, presenter, and speaker/writer. She’s internationally known for breaking records at the World Series of Poker Main Event and as a female poker industry pioneer. Most recently, she won a World Series of Poker gold ring (2022) and has been co-hosting CBS Sports’ Poker Night Live.

A Los Angeles native, Tiffany grew up working as an actress and TV host in the film and television industry, eventually gaining fame on an unexpected stage at the 2008 World Series of Poker. As the “Last Woman Standing” in the WSOP Main Event, her 17th-place finish out of 6,844 players broke the record for the largest field ever defeated by a woman in live poker tournament history! The feat made Tiffany one of the most sought-after female players in the game and landed her on the list of 2008’s Top 10 Most Fascinating People in Poker. In 2010 and 2012, MAXIM Magazine named her one of the world’s Top 20 Hottest Celebrity Poker Players.

Tiffany continued redefining and advancing women’s role in poker, crossing into mainstream media and appearing on magazine covers and television shows. In 2009, Tiffany defied the odds again when she competed as the only all-female team on the Emmy Award-winning 15th season of The Amazing Race on CBS, alongside her best friend and fellow ‘Last Woman Standing’ poker pro, Maria Ho. Other notable television appearances include Kat Von D’s LA Ink, Food Network’s Worst Cooks In America, GSN’s World Series of Blackjack, and as a series regular on the Emmy Nominated online soap opera DeVanity.

Born and raised in Los Angeles, Tiffany caught the acting bug early and began performing in theatre when she was 10. As an adolescent, she earned back-to-back Best Young Performer nominations for her starring roles in the musical adaptations of Alice in Wonderland and Beauty & The Beast.

Tiffany discovered many other outlets to feed (and hone) the performer and competitor within her, including competing in regional and national pageants. She won the titles of Miss Teen SCV Princess, Miss Teen Newhall, and Miss Teen Santa Clarita Valley, and she was a Top 10 finalist at Miss Teenage California, being named Miss Congeniality by her fellow 200 competitors.

In college, Tiffany applied her acting skills to her academia. As the student founder and team captain of her speech and debate team, she won trophies nationwide for her performances and original work in the dramatic interpretation and prose interpretation categories. After completing a two-year theatre program and studying with esteemed professors from UCLA’s Film and Television Department, Tiffany transitioned from acting on stage to the screen while continuing her education at the Aaron Speiser Acting Studio.

Between auditions, Tiffany became interested in poker when visiting Hollywood home games with her peers. She quickly discovered a natural knack for No-Limit Texas Hold’Em poker and began booking jobs as an on-camera poker host and commentator while working on her game.

In 2006, Tiffany was heard nationwide as an on-air host and commentator for the official World Series of Poker coverage on Sirius Satellite Radio. In 2007, she became the first-ever female on-camera host for PokerNews. She spent the following two years traveling internationally on the professional poker circuit, hosting the World Series of Poker, the European Poker Tour, and the World Poker Tour. Thus began Tiffany’s immersion in the professional poker industry.

After a long, poker-induced sabbatical, Tiffany returned to her performing roots in 2014 with a series regular role on the soap opera DeVanity, playing the resident villainess Scarlett (Kane) DeVanity. The show was nominated for an Emmy Award that year in the New Approaches—Best Drama Series category.

Tiffany Michelle calls Los Angeles, California, home but frequently finds herself in Las Vegas and London. She enjoys working with various companies, casinos, and organizations. She is regularly called upon for her poker expertise as a poker presenter/commentator, coach/instructor, casino and e-sports content producer, and, of course, as a player and poker celebrity.

Tiffany Michelle is an inspirational speaker and shares unique and empowering stories from her adventures as a professional poker-playing woman (and poker record-breaker), broadcast journalist, and amazing racer. She speaks around the world at motivational, educational, corporate, and social events and offers poker instruction. She speaks on problem-solving like a pro, navigating uncertainty, the gender game, mastering ego and emotions, creative strategies and more.
