Biography
Saeed Alghafri is an Emirati CEO, entrepreneur, wellbeing advocate, and certified meditation and yoga instructor who has successfully bridged the worlds of corporate leadership and personal transformation. He is deeply committed to helping organizations transform, driving turnarounds, and developing conscious leaders who can navigate challenges with clarity, confidence, and emotional intelligence.
Beginning his career as a Chemical Engineer, Saeed Alghafri spent over two decades in the UAE’s manufacturing and oil & gas sectors, holding multiple senior leadership positions. His career culminated in his role as CEO of Emirates Steel, where he oversaw a portfolio with USD 2.5 billion in turnover, managed a workforce of 2,500 employees, and led a global supply chain serving customers across more than 70 countries. During his tenure, he successfully delivered growth strategies and major international expansion projects, establishing himself as a respected corporate leader with a proven track record in scaling complex operations.
While achieving success at the highest levels of industry, Saeed Alghafri also experienced the intense pressures and demands of executive life. Witnessing firsthand how stress impacts leaders and organizations, he chose to pursue advanced certifications in wellbeing, resilience, and emotional intelligence. His personal journey into mindfulness, yoga, and meditation not only brought balance into his own life but also equipped him to guide others in cultivating resilience, enhancing self-awareness, and building strong professional and personal relationships without compromising family life or personal wellness.
Today, Saeed Alghafri is the CEO of Yuwab Consulting, a technology-driven startup providing coaching and consulting services for individuals and organizations with a vision to expand globally. He is also the founder of Oloaa, a UAE-based healthy snack company launched in 2012, which reflects his commitment to shifting mindsets toward healthier nutritional lifestyles. Through his entrepreneurial ventures, he continues to align business with wellbeing, innovation, and social impact. The company also operates the Yuwab Podcast, which explores themes related to thriving in life and the workplace.
As a certified executive wellbeing coach and yoga instructor, Saeed Alghafri brings a unique approach to leadership development. His programs, workshops, and talks integrate practical leadership frameworks with mindfulness practices, helping leaders and teams unlock their full potential while fostering purpose, clarity, and sustainable growth. Unlike many speakers who speak only from theory, Saeed draws from his own extensive leadership experience—merging the realities of the boardroom with the principles of wellbeing and conscious leadership.
Saeed Alghafri is regularly invited to speak at conferences, corporate gatherings, and leadership retreats. His talks are rooted in authenticity and a genuine desire to create meaningful and lasting change. Known for his ability to inspire while offering actionable strategies, he equips audiences with tools to build resilience, lead with emotional intelligence, and cultivate balance in an increasingly complex world.
By combining two decades of C-suite experience with his passion for wellbeing and personal growth, Saeed Alghafri empowers individuals and organizations to transform the way they live and lead—proving that true leadership is as much about clarity and self-awareness as it is about strategy and performance.
