AI is everywhere. It is exciting. It is unsettling. And for most people, it raises the same question: what does this actually mean for me?
Drawing on his experience leading ethical hackers, two-time #1 bestselling author Ted Harrington brings a rare cross-industry perspective that is shaped by working on the front lines of technological change. Seeing how new technology succeeds, fails, and reshapes organizations has taught him that the real challenge is not the tools themselves, but how people decide to adopt them. This talk introduces the hacker mindset as a way to navigate change, question assumptions, and move forward with confidence. This keynote is not a security talk. It is a talk about disruption, emerging technology, and how to think clearly when the ground is shifting under you.
After attending this keynote, audiences will be able to:
- Separate hype from substance when evaluating AI and other emerging technologies
- Ask better questions about adoption, risk, and opportunity during periods of disruption
- Apply a hacker mindset to adapt, experiment, and make smarter decisions in the face of change
Have you ever wondered how hackers think?
In this keynote, you'll hear stories from the front lines of ethical hacking. Led by Ted Harrington -- #1 bestselling author, co-founder of IoT Village, and a leader of ethical hackers -- you'll learn:
-what it means to think like a hacker
- how this mindset results in better, more secure systems
- how to apply this mindset to any goals, and what happens when you do
With most new breakthroughs in technology there are also people looking to exploit that new technology. What exciting new opportunities will new tech make possible? Will artificial intelligence develop to a point where we can’t defend against it? How do we better secure our brands and companies as AI becomes more powerful?
In this forward-looking program, you’ll get to explore these important issues (and more), from the viewpoint of a hacker.
You’ll learn a 3-step process to help you anticipate and prepare for the inevitable changes that are coming. Delivered by Ted Harrington, #1 bestselling author and leader of ethical hackers, you’ll learn how to think differently about not just the future -- but also the present moment.
