Book James Clear through The Keynote Curators
Biography
James Clear is a personal development keynote speaker and New York Times bestselling author of Atomic Habits. His entertaining talks teach audiences about small habits, decision-making, and continuous improvement.
But James Clear doesn’t merely report the research of others. James Clear tries out the concepts for himself as he experiments with building better habits as an entrepreneur, writer, and weightlifter. In the end, his talks end up being one-part storytelling, one-part academic research, and one-part personal experiment, forming a colorful blend of inspirational stories, academic science, and hard-earned wisdom.
His thought leadership regularly appears in the New York Times, Entrepreneur, Business Insider, Medium, and Time, and he is a regular guest for CBS This Morning. In addition, he helps millions of visitors each month through his website, and hundreds of thousands subscribe through his popular email newsletter.
James Clear is a regular speaker at Fortune 500 companies, and his work has been used by teams in the NFL, NBA, and MLB. Through his online course, The Habits Academy, James Clear has taught more than 10,000 leaders, managers, coaches, and teachers how to improve.
Audiences come away from his talks learning how to:
- Build a system for getting 1% better every day.
- Break bad habits and stick to good ones.
- Avoid the common mistakes most people make when changing habits.
- Overcome a lack of motivation and willpower.
- Develop a stronger identity and believe in yourself.
- Make time for new habits (even when life gets crazy).
- Design an environment to make success easier.
- Make tiny, easy changes that deliver big results.
- Get back on track when you get off course.
- Put these ideas into practice in real life.

A talk on the power of small habits by keynote speaker James Clear.
As a keynote speaker, my goal is to share brilliant and interesting ideas in the most engaging way possible. Let me tell you a little bit more about me and my approach to keynote speaking.
I spend most of my time writing about self-improvement tips based on proven scientific research. In my speeches, I share the best strategies I have found for building good habits, breaking bad ones, and improving performance.
I’m the author of the New York Times bestseller, Atomic Habits, which has sold more than 20 million copies worldwide.
I love storytelling and I’ve written hundreds of interesting articles about people who have transformed their habits and maximized their potential. My keynote speeches are filled with the same engaging storytelling as my writing.
My top skill as a keynote speaker is taking complex topics and making them simple and practical. In each talk, I’ll explain the science of habit change, human behavior, and high performance in a way that audiences can easily understand and actually use.
My ideas have been tested by a wide range of people. Over 8 million people read my articles each year and more than 3 million people subscribe to my weekly email newsletter. Hundreds of thousands of people follow me on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram.
I teach ideas that I have tried myself. I am continually working on my productivity habits as a writer, on my exercise habits as a weightlifter, and on my creativity habits as a travel photographer in over 25 countries.
