Biography

As the Co-founder of BI Brainz and the popular BI/Analytics Data Storytelling Framework (BIDS), Mico Yuk has been blessed to train 10,000+ data professionals over the last 10 years and she doesn’t plan on stopping any time soon. Mico loves discussing the use and impact of data storytelling on her Analytics on Fire podcast, where she interviews rockstar students, fellow thought leaders, and some of her executive sponsors.

Mico’s true passion is teaching the verbal, written and visual art of data storytelling to drive action. She’s consulted with and trained teams for companies like Shell, FedEx, Nestle, Qatargas, Ericsson, Procter & Gamble, Kimberly-Clark, and more.

Rated as the #7 most influential entrepreneur in BI by Onalytics, Mico became known in the analytics community for her ‘blunt’ twitter comments and blogs which have been mentioned on numerous tech websites and blogs. That led to some of her favorite top-rated keynotes and speaking engagements including, the Harvard Entrepreneurial Club, the Real Business Intelligence Conference at MIT, Google BlackTech Mecca, Facebook Women in Analytics, the Microsoft Power BI Summit, Booz Allen Inspiration Series, AnitaB.Org Hopperx London, ITWeb in South Africa, and South Summit in Madrid, to name a few.
