Biography
Alysa Liu became the youngest American female figure skater to ever become a national champion at the age of 13 and then repeated the following year. Liu is also the first U.S. woman to land a quad jump in competition. In the lead-up to the Beijing Winter Olympics, she won both the CS Nebelhorn Trophy and the CS Lombardia Trophy. Liu had to miss the Olympic Trials due to COVID-19, but was still given a spot on the 2022 Team USA squad.
