Book Stefan Olander through The Keynote Curators

Biography

A former Vice President of Advertising and Vice President of Global Digital Innovation, Stefan Olander’s remarkable 21-year career at Nike included multiple cutting-edge global initiatives, including the revolutionary Nike+ experience developed in partnership with Apple, which took the concept of wearable technology mainstream.

In 2021 Olander co-founded OMORPHO, the first patented Gravity Sportswear™ brand of weighted clothing for resistance training, “designed to make you fitter, faster and stronger.” Fast Company named the brand one of the Most Innovative Companies of 2023.

The native Swede brings a global perspective to his approach toward innovation. When armed with curiosity and passion, he believes, innovative companies—from healthcare and manufacturing to retail and transportation—can do smart things. In highly visual presentations, Olander inspires audiences with tangible leadership and digital innovation strategies for human-centric brands, and explains how counterintuitive, small changes can often win big results.

“Business can’t go wrong,” he says, “as long as the starting and ending point of the process remains focused on how you’re helping the person.” Staying true to that mission will help you navigate wisely in the face of a disruptive challenge. Through his deep brand understanding and his ability to bridge the physical-digital divide, Olander shares key takeaways on how to create meaningful solutions that deliver value for both consumers and businesses.

Stefan Olander is the co-author of Velocity: The Seven New Laws for a World Gone Digital, a best-selling innovation playbook. In 2012, he claimed the #7 spot in Fast Company’s 100 Most Creative People in Business. In addition to his work at OMORPHO, Olander is currently an advisor, board member, and founder of BrandNew innovation studio, inspiring leaders, brands, and businesses to maximize their potential, as well as developing new consumer solutions.
